How to Add or Remove a Sticker Manually in Your World Cup 2026 Album

A quick guide to logging stickers by team code and number without the camera, and undoing any slip-up.

When to Enter a Sticker by Hand

The fastest way to log a sticker in Onzi is to point your camera and let the app read the team code and number for you. But scanning isn't always an option: the sticker might be creased, glary, or have a faded code, or you might just prefer to type. That's exactly what manual entry is for.

It works just like scanning, except you supply the details yourself. Every sticker has a short team code (for example, the country's three-letter code) and a number. With those two pieces, the app finds the exact sticker in the catalog.

How to Add a Sticker by Its Code

When scanning won't cooperate, look for the option to enter a sticker manually, usually near the scan camera or inside the team page you're organizing.

  • Pick the sticker's team (by its three-letter code or its flag).
  • Enter the number printed on the sticker.
  • Check the on-screen preview against the sticker in your hand.
  • Tap to add it to your collection; it counts toward your progress and the team ranking right away.

How to Remove a Sticker You No Longer Have

Traded it, lost it, or stuck it into your paper album and want it out of Onzi? Removing is as easy as adding. Open the sticker (through its team or by searching the number) and unmark it from your collection.

If you had duplicates of that sticker, adjust the quantity instead of clearing it out completely. That way the app still knows how many you have left to trade with friends.

How to Fix a Logging Mistake

Logged the wrong number or the wrong team? No worries, you can undo it anytime. Since everything is saved on your device, nothing is final until you confirm it.

Before you add, two quick checks save you trouble:

  • Confirm the team code: teams with similar names can have different letters.
  • Look at the sticker preview on screen and compare it with the one in your hand.
  • If you already added the wrong one, remove the incorrect sticker and log the right one.
  • If a number looks ambiguous, count it again; some digits look alike when the print is faded.

Tips to Keep Manual Entry Smooth

Manual entry really shines for catch-up sessions, when you're updating a stack of stickers at once or moving an older collection into the app.

  • Log by team: grab all the stickers from one country and enter them in a row.
  • Sort your duplicates first so you can set quantities without losing track.
  • Use the camera whenever you can; typing is just the backup for when it fails.
  • It's all offline, so you can log away even with no internet.
